 For the past twenty-five years it has been our focus at Schaefer Angus to produce low birth, cost efficient performance cattle with strong maternal traits. As we are all aware, cattle producers are all faced with ever increasing input costs. We feel that it is more important than ever to be able to utilize the cheapest forages available while still maximizing profitability. Our cow herd has been selected with this in mind. We are committed to producing moderate framed, thick, deep sided, easy fleshing cattle that will perform and maintain profitability with minimal maintenance requirements. Our cattle have been bred to maximize the predictability of these characteristics.
